ABC News Online: US troops leave Syria as Kurdish fighters and civilians withdraw from Turkey's proposed 'safe zone'

The United States has evacuated Sarrin military base — the last major US base in northern Syria — with convoys of American troops crossing into Iraq.

US Defence Secretary Mark Esper said all US troops leaving Syria would go to western Iraq, where they would continue operations against the Islamic State.

President Donald Trump previously stated he was "bringing soldiers home" after announcing the withdrawal earlier this month, a move that cleared the way for a Turkish offensive against Kurdish forces who fought alongside the US against IS.

Anther Blow to Fake News Media: MAJORITY of Americans Believe Top Level Intel Officials Worked to Stop Trump Presidency — Only 36% Disagree

"A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey shows that 51% of Likely U.S. Voters think it’s likely senior law enforcement officials broke the law in an effort to prevent Donald Trump from winning the presidency. That includes 34% who say it’s Very Likely."

Of course our resident Luddite despises Rassmussen but we shall see with the coming elections.

You went there. The Expectation, E(x), was 40% to 50% that you would.

So 40% to 42% think think correctly or incorrectly that senior law enforcement officials broke the law and are trying to nullify the vote.

This is a serious problem for a civil society, a tranquil society, and a governable one.

I also wrote that we shall see. That is the actual vote will give us some idea if the Rassmussen poll was correct. We will also know perhaps from other polls say by Zogby. Zogby was the only polling outfit to call the 2000 election correctly.

As an aside think about that. Most polling outfits 90% or more got wrong the last 40% of the last 5 elections. These are professional organizations that have been around years using a pretty solid discipline.

It occurs to me who CHUDLEY is. for sure I won't know. But certain tells are there.

I have to wonder how a 55 year old would find the film 'CHUD' anything more than vaguely entertaining. Maybe.

Perhaps it is the result of what they put into their head. You are what you eat/consume. If a person loves the film CHUD and is histrionic, what can we surmise about such an individual?

All told, between 48 contests that he’s surveyed over the past two election cycles, Zogby’s Internet polls have been off by an average of 7.6 points. This is an extreme outlier with respect to absolutely anyone else in the polling community.
