Daily Mail: Senior White House aides claim Mike Pence would support the 25th amendment to remove Donald Trump as president and take the job himself, anonymous new book alleges

* Anonymous official behind NYT op-ed has written a book called 'The Warning'
* It claims White House aides made a 'tally' of possible plotters against Trump
* They allegedly had 'no doubt' that Pence would sign off on using the procedure
* Pence's camp immediately denied the claim, labeling it 'fake news' last night

White House aides believed Mike Pence would support using the 25th Amendment to remove Donald Trump, a new book has claimed.

The bombshell claim - immediately denied by the Vice President's camp - has emerged in a book by an anonymous Trump official entitled 'The Warning'.

The official is the same one who wrote a New York Times op-ed in 2018 claiming to be 'part of the resistance' inside the Trump White House.

In the book, the author claims that White House staff made a 'back-of-the-envelope tally' in 2017 of who would be willing to plot against Trump.

Update #2: White House aides were certain Pence would support invoking 25th amendment to force Trump from office, anonymous official writes in upcoming book -- Business Insider

WNU Editor: The Pence team is denying these reports .... 'FAKE NEWS': Pence team denies anonymous op-ed author claim about 25th Amendment (Washington Examiner). More denials here .... Pence team denies anonymous author's claim that he would have backed removal of Trump (The Hill). As to what is my take on this claim. I am super skeptical. Vice President Pence has always backed the President, and for him to go behind his back and do this does not fit into his character. But the book is claiming that some White House aides believed that he would. There are a lot of people working in the White House, so unless the author behind this claim start naming names, I will treat this as fake news.

In my book the name anonymous simply has no credibility anymore thanks to the media, the schiffster, and the dimz in general.

Ho hum. This book should have the same response as did the climate warrior gore's second comedy movie.

Accusation number 1,945,900,000 against Trump from anonymous source that can't be proven false. So the media assumes it's true.
