U.S. Senate Republicans Will Not Call The Witnesses That The Trump Administration Wants In An Impeachment Trial

PoliticusUSA: Republicans Lack The Votes To Call Trump Impeachment Trial Witnesses

Senate Republicans don’t have the 51 votes needed to call the Hunter Biden, or anyone associated with Trump’s favorite conspiracies to testify at his impeachment trial.

According to The New York Times:

While Democrats who control the House are focused on a swift impeachment vote by year’s end, the White House is almost entirely consumed by the trial that would follow in the Republican-controlled Senate, where Mr. Trump’s team believes he would have the chance to defend himself and where Democrats would almost certainly fall short of the two-thirds vote they would need to remove him from office.

WNU Editor: The Democrats will need to peel away three US Senators to make that happen, and it is easy to know who those three US Republican Senators are .... Here are the Senate Republicans who could vote to convict Trump (The Hill).

Trump cannot potentially call the witnesses he wants? That is justice?

One of the people who may go down that route is Mitt Romney?

Two saying come to mind

"If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen."

"If you can't keep up, don't step up" - Riddick (Vin Diesel)

Obviously, Mitt Romney can't keep up. I'm not saying that he is not a man. He is just not enough of a man to be where he is. He has "been weighed, measured, and found wanting"

Candy Crowley as an impartial moderator walked all over him in a debate. He did not fight back. Is he constitutionally incapable or is he conditioned to be a "gentleman"? As a voter I do not really care.

Obama quipped that "The 80s want their foreign policy back". All the liberals snickered liken hyenas and jackasses. Four years later nothing but the world "Russia" is on their lips.

People with refined manners (like the Mitts and Jebs) that prevent them from fighting back in a bare fisted manner against opponents like the balls out, brash Democrats have no business entering the political arena.

If Mitt Romney votes to deny Donald Trump a full defense, then we cannot wait to primary him. We need a recall vote.

Honest elections, no gerrymandering, dependable and secure voting equipment, a revision to the registration process and for sure, and a recall process at all levels.

"dependable and secure voting equipment"

And once again Bob demonstrates his complete ignorance about any and all processes.

There are already recall processes Bob. Please try to keep up. Maybe you could if you did not spend so much time playing bingo.
