FOX News: James Comey focus of FBI leak investigation, report says
The Justice Department is investigating whether then-FBI Director James Comey illegally leaked secret information concerning a Russian document to The New York Times and The Washington Post, the Times reported late Thursday.
The new review, which the Times downplayed as a possibly politically motivated probe, reportedly concerned a Russian intelligence document "claiming a tacit understanding between the Clinton campaign and the [Obama] Justice Department over the inquiry into whether she intentionally revealed classified information through her use of a private email server," as the Post described it in May 2017.

Why not? With Barr it could be different.
Michael Ludeen wrote a piece about investigating leakers in the White House. He was tasked with this and yet found himself in the room with the leakers time after time. Leaking is a normal way of doing business. They people were often let off the hook.
So in a way what Comey is doing is normal and expected.
Except the difference is they are trying to jail the president. It is one thing to lose your job. It is another to lose your job and go to jail. This has gone beyond playing with sharp elbows and that is why Comey needs to be jailed instead.
Comey needs to be jailed or they will do it again.
This is a progressive disease. We should have seen this with Scooter Libby. They think it is all funny that they can do something and others get the blame. Kind of like a rich noble brat getting caught and his butler having to take the actual physical punishment. IS it any different?
Armitage leaked Valerie Plame's name and Scooter Libby took the fall. That is justice?
General Flynn's case absolutely looks no different than Scooter Libby's case.

Leaking details of FBI investigations to the media is illegal. Prosecution, however, is rare, and it is even more rare — possibly unprecedented — to prosecute leaks that occurred several years ago. So Comey is not being hit with trumped-up charges. He is the apparent victim of selective prosecution.
What Comey did with Rosenthal was rotten.
Simply saying that it was several years ago just shows that the Dems just ran the clock out.
