Army-Technology: US Army to opt for virtual recruitment to meet end-strength goal

The US Army is planning to leverage virtual technologies for recruitment in a bid to meet end-strength goal of 485,000 soldiers by 30 September.

Army News Service Thomas Brading reported that the military branch aims to sign 10,000 enlistment contracts during a three-day virtual hiring programme scheduled to start from 30 June.

Army Training and Doctrine Command commander General Paul Funk said: “We’re looking for those young men and women that want to be infantry people; multiple launch rocket systems crew members; air and missile defence crew members; unmanned aircraft systems operators.
