Thwaites glacier is losing ice at an accelerating rate, threatening catastrophic sea-level rise
Many climate scientists regard Thwaites glacier in West Antarctica as one of the most vulnerable and most significant glaciers in the world in terms of future global sea-level rise.
Its collapse would raise global sea levels by more than half a metre on its own, and subsequently release other major bodies of ice in West Antarctica, which together could raise sea levels by 2-3 metres. The ramifications for many countries, including most of the world’s coastal cities, would be catastrophic.
For this reason, Thwaites is known as Antarctica’s “Doomsday glacier”.
Earlier this year a team of scientists observed, for the first time, the presence of warm water at a vital point underneath the glacier, which helps explain the reason behind the extent of its decrease.

Take a so called 'denier' website. Some of them say that warming would be 1 or 1.5 degrees not 4 or 6 degrees like IPCC alleges. Further they say that humans are responsible for 40% of that.
For that 40% contribution their point is that the proposed liberal cure is not worth the cost. They did a cost benefit analysis. They used numbers; something that you are allergic to.
The liberal response has to be something more than "Wir schaffen das" or take all the money and put everything into an unreliable wind turbines for base load.
What was your highest level of mathematical achievement? Middles school or high school geometry? Algebra 1? Pre-Algebra? General math? Remedial math?
The most you can do Fred is an "appeal to authority", you cannot, have not and will not debate numbers, or theories on your own.
