BBC: Belarus election: President Lukashenko faces toughest test in years

President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus is seeking a sixth term in office in an election he is both tipped to win but which is also likely to be his toughest challenge yet.

He won previous elections by a landslide but the votes were condemned by election observers.

This time though he has a prominent rival in a 37-year-old who is running in place of her jailed husband.

Belarus has also seen large opposition protests and a row with Russia.

It looks like 2010 and 2011 were banner years for the CIA. the CIA agents got to go home and collect their pensions and their contacts got the executioner's block.

Besides getting people killed world wide and spying on Trump what has the CIA done?

Maybe it wasn't the CIA's fault. Maybe it was Hillary's gold plated. extra special email server that she put in the bathroom of her house?

  5. I did not see the reference someone made to ASA. So I skimmed history again and found several. I had searched on the presumed name not on the acronym. Stupid me. So I looked up ASA on the internet and lost of people talked about their time at the ASA in Massachusetts and that is where I found the MOS's. Somehow picking up dead goats does not fit those MOS's. It doesn't mean that it is a lie it just seems like it would be ancillary.

Also the person in the history seems to be not all there. So I have problems reconciling them with the current person. Although I do have a elderly neighbor, who retired, who is healthier now than when he retired. If he had remained another 5 years in Dilbertland, he would have died due to the cubicle environment. So it is possible for a person to rally at a late stage. Still that was more physical than mental.

    1. The joke was ASA stood for "Assholes Sign Anything", which seems quite appropriate in this case.
