China Sanctions 5 US GOP Senators In Retaliation To US Sanctions

Daily Mail: China sanctions 11 US citizens including Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio in retaliation for U.S. restrictions on Hong Kong's top officials - but Beijing does not hit ANY Trump officials

* China announced Monday it is placing unspecific sanctions against 11 U.S. politicians and business officials
* The list includes Texas Senator Ted Cruz and Florida Senator Marco Rubio, but it doesn't not name any of Donald Trump's administration or campaign officials
* China's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian announced the sanctions, claiming the 11 individuals 'performed badly' on issues concerning Hong Kong
* China issued a new national security law in Hong Kong last month, leading to new sanctions from the U.S. and widespread criticism from U.S. officials
* The U.S. also closed the Chinese consulate in Houston last month as relations between Washington and Beijing have been on a decline the past few months

China announced Monday it is levying sanctions against Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and nine other U.S. business figures and Republican politicians in retaliation for actions taken against Hong Kong.

The unspecific sanctions were announced by China's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian who said the 11 individuals 'performed badly' on issues concerning the semi-autonomous southern Chinese city.

'The relevant actions of the U.S. blatantly intervened in Hong Kong affairs, grossly interfered in China's internal affairs, and seriously violated international law and the basic norms of international relations,' Zhao said at a daily briefing on Monday.

WNU Editor: This is not over by any means. Expect more sanctions and retaliatory measures from both sides in the coming days/weeks.

Carl,

Name the wars they started or proposed to start.

Since Iraq there have only been 2 wars started. Obama started them.

I think that a Canadian politician being a warmmonger would be as useless as tits on a boar.

Canada has like ... what? One destroyer? Does it count if is not sea worthy?

Oh wait that destroyer is gone.

A outside 3rd party conducted an objective wargame of the Canadian Navy versus the Somali Coast Guard. The Somalis won.

Xi would not be able to sanction a Democrat senator like Di Fi. She has a vicious lip lock on him.

Then there are former Senators like Biden. His son can plead poverty in family court and refuse to pay his baby mama. Then he turns around and pays California $600,000 in back taxes while living a $12,0000/month mansion in Californication.

Yuppers, that Chinese money is still rolling-in, lining the pockets of the Bidens and Democrat aristocrats.

5:36 aka Dim goober cannot saqy which of the 2 senators nor which policies are bad.

If said goober (5:36) started discussing policies eventually it would lose and move on. I think said goober knows less than the squirrel and that is really bad cut.

5:36 isn't even a US citizen.

Dims bequeath the vote and citizenship to whoever they want. It is various governor, AG's and other asshole Dems hide databases.

I remember being berated once about an opinion on the Roman Empire. I was of the opinion that giving citizenship to everyone in the Empire in the 3rd century AD was a good idea. The others older people a round said it was stupid and cheapened Roman citizenship. They had a valid point. Maybe it is not the only valid point, but a very good point it was and is.
