* Long lines were seen outside of a number of U-Haul stations in the neighborhood across Saturday and Sunday, with moving vans lining residential streets
* The mayoral candidate, who often leads Guardian Angel patrols of the area, said he saw numerous moving trucks ‘stacked up’ down his street Saturday

As to where are they fleeing, it is the suburbs .... Big Apple residents flee to the suburbs: Westchester County sees July home sales more than DOUBLE as NYC is ravaged by coronavirus and soaring crime rates (Daily Mail). But my friends who live and/or work in New York City tell me that it is still too early to call this a trend. They say give it another 6 to 9 months before making any conclusions.
