SBS/Reuters: Taiwan scrambles jets as Chinese aircraft buzz the island amid escalating tensions

Chinese jets have buzzed Taiwan, the island's defence ministry says, in an escalation of tensions while a senior US official holds talks in Taipei.

You can plan when you will send an envoy.

You can then plan to preposition interceptors on alert.

When the Chinese come, you, light them up with radar, but nothing kinetic. But you get behind them and dog them.

You put troops in Taiwan as a tripwire. You call the ambassador in after the troops arrive.
