Former CIA Officer Says Russia Is Carrying Out Sonic Attacks On Americans

Daily Mail: Russia-based CIA officer who developed such bad migraines he had to retire fuels suspicion the country is carrying out sonic attacks on Americans - after US diplomats in Cuba and China suffered similar symptoms 

 * Marc Polymeropoulos fell ill in December 2017 in his hotel room in Moscow 

 * His illness followed dozens of other similar incidents in Cuba and China 

 * Diplomat Mark Lenzi, 45, was stationed in Guangzhou in 2017, when he fell ill 

 * His neighbor Catherine Werner also experienced symptoms and fellow US official Robyn Garfield was evacuated from Shanghai with his family in 2018 

 * Now some scientists, as well as experts at the CIA and State Department, have said the most likely culprit behind the unexplained symptoms is Russia 

 * A Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman has called that 'absurd and bizarre' 

 * The CIA director and State Department say they have not established a cause 

A CIA officer based in Russia who developed such chronic migraines he had to retire has fueled suspicions the country is behind mysterious sonic attacks worldwide. 

Marc Polymeropoulos fell ill with severe migraines after experiencing vertigo in his hotel room in Moscow in December 2017. 

His illness followed dozens of other similar incidents in Cuba and China where diplomats reported headaches and memory loss. Now some scientists, as well as experts at the CIA and State Department, have told The New York Times the most likely culprit behind the unexplained symptoms is Russia.
