WASHINGTON, D.C.—In a moving display of support for incoming president Joe Biden, eleven flags were planted in the National Mall to represent the average number of supporters he was able to round up for a rally during his campaign.
The spectacle made a powerful statement to the nation, showing everybody just how amazingly popular and beloved our new president is.

WNU Editor: I think it was in January last year, or earlier, and there was a local news report on Joe Biden showing up at a campaign event in a small hall trying to gather support during the primaries.
It was a small hall, and besides a few media people, the only two people who showed up were a mother and her 12 year old son. She brought him there to show him what politics looks like. Joe Biden paid attention to them, and thanked them for showing up.
I have been thinking about that event since Joe Biden's victory in November.
There is no connection between him and the public, but that was not necessary for him to win.
And for that mom and son. Who were the only ones who made the effort to see him. They now have pictures and videos that political junkies would now kill to have.

There is no way the Trump voter will come together with Biden. I will give Biden the same chance Trump got after the inaugaration. Within 20 minutes they were sfter him for impeachment.

For 90 minutes on Monday, a swath of the National Mall was illuminated with 56 “pillars of light” and close to 200,000 flags in an art display representing the people who are unable to attend the presidential inauguration because of the coronavirus pandemic and restrictive security measures.
The display represents all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and the United States’s five permanently inhabited territories.
