Has The Biden Presidency Failed Spectacularly?

Kylee Zempel, The Federalist: Only Nine Months In And The Biden Presidency Has Failed Spectacularly

It’s hard to keep up the illusion that you’re the answer to an entire country’s ills when seemingly everything you touch falls apart. President Joe Biden is learning this lesson the hard way, with his endeavors regarding the coronavirus, foreign policy, and national security all wreaking havoc simultaneously.

As the Associated Press documented, in one single hour on Friday afternoon, Biden and his team failed spectacularly on Afghanistan, ate crow on their next attempted COVID-19 milestone, and ticked off the United States’ longest ally.

WNU Editor: You have to wonder what the next nine months will bring. My gut is telling me that it is going to get worse.

get over it
Biden doing much better than Trump
1. got us out of Afghanistan
2. is doing much better with pandemic than nutty Trump and his strange drinks and statements
3. helping the unemployed
4. restoring the economy
5. recognizing climate change and addressing that issue

I don't know 5:13. I agree with every point WNU made.

Some sort of legal surveillance should be in place in Mexico and on the border. Part oft could be a simple as asking the Mexican government or Mexican counterparts in the Mexican military or federal police. SO MILLEY TALKS TO THE CHINESE BUT NOT THE MEXICANS, because they are small fry?

What I have heard is the Mexicans were made that they UIS renege on agreements, so they released people they had penned up on the southern border and/or transported them by bus.

I think this comes from in part to them having such a focus on their policies that they want to implement come Hell or high water that they did not have time to notice.

Yes, and Biden's time is up. He blew it with the illegal immigration. They have been legal immigrants in my family since the 1960 including POC.

Inflation is restoring the economy? That is a new one. Perhaps you need a new diploma. Preferably one which takes an actual functioning brain to earn.

Historians ranked Trump lower than any president in the past 150 years in a new C-SPAN survey.
Trump landed at No. 41 out of 44 presidents.
Barack Obama came in 10th, while Abraham Lincoln sat in the top spot.
See more stories on Insider's business page.

Former President Donald Trump, a former reality-TV star who's famously obsessed with ratings, is unlikely to appreciate C-SPAN's new survey of presidential leadership. Historians who participated in the survey ranked Trump among the worst US presidents.

Out of 44 presidents reviewed for the survey by 142 historians and professional observers of the presidency, Trump landed at 41st, the lowest ranking of any president in the past 150 years. The only presidents who ranked lower than Trump were Franklin Pierce, Andrew Johnson, and James Buchanan.

William Henry Harrison, who died 32 days into his presidency and had the shortest tenure of any commander in chief, ranked just above Trump.

This was the first time Trump was ranked in C-SPAN's survey, the fourth in a series. Since 2000, C-SPAN has surveyed historians at every change in a presidential administration.

-CSPAN (@cspan) June 30, 2021

C-SPAN said there was a 50% increase in the number of historians and professional observers who participated from 2017, adding diversity in race, gender, age, and philosophy.

Of the 10 characteristics of leadership the presidents were graded on, Trump's highest ratings were in "public persuasion" and "economic management." His lowest marks were in "moral authority" and "administrative skills," for which Trump received the worst ratings of any US president.

At issue is a formality: raising the debt ceiling so that the U.S. government can continue paying the bills as previously appropriated by Congress.

But Republicans are refusing to go along, threatening a catastrophic government default and shutdown that could send the U.S. economy into an immediate recession and destabilize global markets.

They’re saying that keeping the government solvent is a Democratic problem now.

It’s an abandonment of the responsibility of governing. It is aberrational behavior by a political party that is willing to take extreme and potentially damaging action to score political points. It’s a hostage crisis.

At issue is a brain dead f____r.

"At issue is a formality: raising the debt ceiling so that the U.S. government can continue paying the bills as previously appropriated by Congress."

So, if you cannot cannot pay your bills with the weekly wage or monthly salary and have to borrow each pay period, we all know that the bank will keep writing you loans officer. Maybe 50,000 and have to borrow? "No prob" says the loan officer. Instead owing the bank 300,000, it will now be 700,000. The next year you owe 1.1 million and so on. We all know how it ends.

8:01 is brain dead f_____r.
