The cover story was that the Iraqis were sending assistance for a dam collapse.

1) Iraq never lived up to the terms of the ceasefire. 200 Kuwaitis are missing. Iraq never returned them or told us where their bodies were buried. but it must not matter to Carl. He does not care about brown lives unless he is told to care by someone in authority on the Left. Such compassion.

How many times must US planes doing fly overs of Iraq after the gulf war be painted? Turning a fire control radar on a war plane is the same as pointing a gun on someone on the street. Sure they have not pulled the trigger, but they still pointed it at you and can change their mind in a split second and pull the trigger.

Maybe Carl does not remember Operation Desert Fox? That was by Clinton.

Nothing like flying a jet fighter and being lit up. But Carl has balls of steel and is Cool Hand Luke.

After 2003 the waters of the Euphrates were tested for WMD's and popped positive.

Syria's Chemical Weapons Came From Saddam's Iraq

https://www.investors.com/politics/editorials/syria-chemical-weapons-came-from-iraq/

General Sada's assertion holds up much better say assertions by people like Jeffrey Goldberg.

2) It was predicted in 2009 thru 2011 that, when the US pulled out of Iraq (The bad war) that what liberals called the good war would also be called a bad war.

Liberals never disssappoint.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8519488391496270073.post-9391504526444987282019-09-11T13:16:25.457-04:002019-09-11T13:16:25.457-04:00Yep. Set the whole place on fire and it's still burning.
I guess they aren't looking for Iraq's WMD's anymore, at least. What a legacy.Roger Smithnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8519488391496270073.post-31485194912668388352019-09-11T10:24:18.641-04:002019-09-11T10:24:18.641-04:00The larger tragedy of 9/11--and this is not to min...The larger tragedy of 9/11--and this is not to minimize the events of that dark day--is that the neo-cons were able to use it as a pretext for launching a policy permanent warfare that began with the invasion of Iraq and has continued to this day. That policy has killed orders of magnitude more people than died in the Twin Towers, and yet there's no organized movement in the US to protest the lies and wanton killing which was unleashed by Dick Cheney and continued by Barak Obama, and to bring those responsible to justice. Only Trump has challenged that policy but he's been thwarted by a bureaucratic inertia of immense power. Perhaps Trump's firing of John Bolton, who has been one of the loudest liars of the past 18 years, will allow the beginning of a process by which America will recover its lost soul.Carlnoreply@blogger.com
