President Donald Trump And King Abdullah II Joint Press Conference (Video)
I listened to that video...sorry but nothing of any substance there as for standing on box for king: sure. this is not unusual. The King a nice guy, friend of our nation. Trump said something about Assad but not sure what. At one point he blamed Obama for Assad's gassing because Obama refused to cross the red line he had set. But earlier, Trump said Assad not our business and we should stay out of this.
fred, I think you mixed it up. he didn't criticize Obama for refusing to "cross the red line he had set"...he was criticizing Obama for not taking action after Assad crossed the red line that Obama set.
Obama didn't take action when Assad crossed Obama's red line a few years back. This only emboldened Assad because it demonstrated that Obama wasn't a threat; Obama wasn't going to follow through on his red line promise
