Did The U.S. Intelligence Community Set-Up President Bush To Invade Iraq In 2003?

The Hill: Limbaugh: Democrats who set up George W. Bush to go to war with Iraq now organizing 'silent coup' against Trump

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh on Friday wagged his finger at Democrats and U.S. intelligence agencies, arguing they tricked former President George W. Bush into the Iraq War and are now trying to do the same to President Trump.

"Now Bush, as a Republican, probably not popular with the deep state, particularly after how he was elected," Limbaugh said on his radio show. "A lot of Democrats, a lot of deep staters think that [Al] Gore should have been president."

"I think there was as much resentment in the deep state — we just didn't call it that then — for George W. Bush as there is today for Donald Trump, and if not the same, it's close," he added.

Update: Rush Limbaugh Says Same Democrats Who Tricked George W. Bush Into Iraq War and WMDs Are Now Pushing Trump-Russia Evidence (Newsweek)

WNU Editor: I have yet to see any evidence that the U.S. intelligence community deliberately misled President Trump and Congress to declare war and invade Iraq in 2003. But we do know that  their intelligence and analysis was completely wrong, and no one within the intel community has ever paid a price for that terrible mistake.

  1. Did the media and Democrat leaders call John McCain a white supremacist in 2008?

Based on evidence to the contrary and only based on their desire to win at all costs.

For groups engaged in blood libel as a daily occurrence, there is no limit as to how low they will go.

Who was director of the CIA in 2003? George Tenet

Who was he? A William Jefferson Clinton appointee.

George W. Bush held him (like Norman Mineta & others) over to show bipartisanship and got fucked in the arse for his efforts at national unity.

What happened? He retired for family reason s in 2004.

  2. "... no one within the intel community has ever paid a price for that terrible mistake."

Citing "personal reasons," Tenet submitted his resignation to President Bush on June 3, 2004. Tenet said his resignation "was a personal decision and had only one basis—in fact, the well-being of my wonderful family—nothing more and nothing less."

Clinton appointee, George Tenet, paid a steep, steep price.

  4. "believe that guy you are seriously stupid"

Back in 1992 Rush Limbaugh predicted gays would become pro-life.

He engages in a lot of logical, critical thinking. It is your loss if you do not listen to him.

  5. SQUIRREL had valuable intel training such as daily picking up dead goats, answering the phone correctly, and pointing a gun at an allied soldier.

    1. I must defend SQUIRREL, after all answering the phone correctly is a most difficult endeavor, but fortunately in this case SQUIRREL was a fighting typewriter of a whole different caliber carbon paper and so it was quite easy for him.

  6. Actually, I will says this for Fred. 7 out of 10 or 9 out of 10 people would answer the phone wrong in a bomb threat situation.
