Washington Post: Bernie Sanders briefed by U.S. officials that Russia is trying to help his presidential campaign
U.S. officials have told Sen. Bernie Sanders that Russia is attempting to help his presidential campaign as part of an effort to interfere with the Democratic contest, according to people familiar with the matter.
President Trump and lawmakers on Capitol Hill also have been informed about the Russian assistance to the Vermont senator, those people said, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive intelligence.
It is not clear what form that Russian assistance has taken. U.S. prosecutors found a Russian effort in 2016 to use social media to boost Sanders’s campaign against Hillary Clinton, part of a broader effort to hurt Clinton, sow dissension in the American electorate and ultimately help elect Donald Trump.

"Show us the evidence." These are extraordinary claims and, as such, eill require extraordinary evidence. In addition to trying to gaslight Americans, I'm starting to tnink the Democrat establishment is suffering from delusions of grandeur. There simply not important enough for the Russians to waste this much time on. I think we can add in some extreme paranoia. Such people aren't fit to lead. At least I wouldn't want them leading any organization I'm associated with.

Friends is coming back for a special episode on HBO max soon.
Fans of the popular show FRIENDS have long been waiting for a special reunion episode with all of the original cast involved. Now, the possibility of this special episode is finally getting on its feet.
Upcoming streaming network HBO max confirmed this news on February 21. HBO max shared the news and tweeted out saying, "The one where they got back together. The Friends cast set to reunite for exclusive HBO Max special #FriendsReunion #HBOMax.”
Soon after which the star cast of the show joined in to celebrate the news. Jennifer Anniston was the first to share an old school promotional picture on her Instagram handle. The actress wrote saying, "It's happening" and even tagged all of her fellow cast members.
Rumours about a special friends episode have hinted at many times. Last year while on the Ellen DeGeneres show Jennifer Anniston revealed that she is working on something special with the other cast members of FRIENDS. Mathew Perry who joined Instagram recently also shared a picture writing, "Big news is coming."
Fans of the hit 90s comedy show are beyond excited to see their favorite cast come back once again. The cast, of course, includes Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc.
HBO Max has not revealed the release date for this special. However, news about the show has also confirmed that the previous 10 seasons of FRIENDS will be moving from Netflix to HBO Max soon.

Given their track record of getting things wrong and failing to stand up for injustices when I think they could have, at best, I tend not to trust them. We've been burned before. As such, I don't think its unreasonable to ask them to substantiate their claims.
DeleteAfter all taking actions that increase tensions with a major world power and risk exacerbating Cold War 2 are serious business and not to be treated as trivial matters. Asking for and demanding evidence to support such actions is both reasonable and prudent.
I didn't do so in the past and have learned from this. I think many others have.
In summary, if you are going to commit us to a policy that endangers the lives and welfare of my loved ones and trashes very important diplomatic efforts with a major world power you are going to need to justify those actions. Where is the evidence? This would be a good question even if the people making the claims had a good track record. They don't!!
Essentially when it comes to matters of dealing with Russia or international relations in general where there's conflicting reports I'm probably going to go with Trump the international businessman's judgement over that of the "establishment." Perhaps there's a third way that might be better. Thus far I haven't seen it.
