Patrick Buchanan: Biden’s Game Plan — Take No Risks & Run Out the Clock
When Vice President Calvin Coolidge ascended to the presidency on the death of Warren Harding in 1923, a wag remarked that Silent Cal’s career had exhibited unmistakable signs of celestial intervention.
Governor Coolidge vaulted to national attention during the Boston police strike of 1919, where, in a stinging letter to Sam Gompers of the AFL, he thundered: “There is no right to strike against the public safety by anybody, anywhere, any time.”
If Joe Biden becomes president, celestial intervention, once again, cannot be ruled out.

WNU Editor: It is going to be hard to keep his campaign low key and tightly scripted. But they are going to try. As to the question .... will it succeed? In a normal situation the answer is no. But we are in the middle of a pandemic, and the old rules no longer apply. And because of that there is a possibility that this campaign strategy may succeed. But my money is still on President Trump winning re-election based on three issues. He has not put the US in a new war. People have more confidence in him rebuilding the economy. The opponent is weak and campaigning from his basement.
Does living in & campaigning from your basement make you a C.H.U.D.?
ReplyDeleteNope. Got be substantially more subterranean, like a mine shaft or subway tunnel.
ReplyDeleteMAGA CHUDS already have a monopoly on the term anyway.
No, Slow Joe qualifies. Have you seen his pallor. He is whiter than the sheets him and his friends use to wear.
ReplyDeletecalling Joe names does not mean much of anything as an argument
ReplyDeleteif he is running out the clock (he is not yet officially the candidate), they do that in sports and it considered a very smart thing to do.
But it does. It conforms with Saul Alinski's 'Rules for Radicals' and that bothers you.
ReplyDeleteJoe was picked solely on the basis, he was not Bernie. If you don't pick Joe, the Bernie-ites will be very, very angry. They might feed you to the Volcano God.
All anyone has to do is read Lapides's Rutger Oral History interview, it's a howler, especially the ASA part.
ReplyDeleteI do not see any ASA part.
ReplyDeleteI do wonder how he survived the wedding reception in Mystic with a mouth like his.
It's there in several places, the claims Lapides makes are worth the read by themselves, the Mystic wedding as you say is a mystery.
DeleteBigot Biden will keep doing his basement campaign thing. Blurting out racist gaffs and fumbling with his dentures.
ReplyDeleteThe rest of the rest of the Dem party will scuttle his bid for him.
/because right now is just the perfect time to defund police, attack the NRA and push gun-grabber legislation thru the House and Senate.

DeleteI don't agree it's the perfect time, they think it is, but they are destroying themselves.
A lot of PhD's running around fucking up the world. Most of those PhD's would be in the humanities.
ReplyDeleteWho wrote the post for you? Your spouse? I see way too much capitalization and punctuation for an English PhD post.
Nice to see that even the lower classes are now reading my bio so they are able to have something to say. Sorry if some of what I had said uses words beyond your reading skills. Try this: there is a book called a dictionary. That might help. Since you are so caught up in my life, here is a spot to go to:

now you have even more to say about me when you get out of your time out corner
Is that the "special dictionary" you carry for questions of law?
Delete"Lower classes" my my do we have quite an opinion of ourselves.
