Editor's Note

My GF's father suffered a stroke last night. He is also a good friend and fellow winemaker. Need to be with the girlfriend right now. Update 21:00 EST: The pronosis for my GF's dad looks good. It is amazing what modern medicine can do. Thank you for the comments and emails. The GF and I appreciate it. I have about 30 news stories that need to be posted. A lot has happened in the past day. Will try my best to post what I can tonight.

    Daily reader for years, have never commented, but have always enjoyed your commentary (I skip the posted work, just to read your analysis). You are a good man with a big heart, and I wish your girlfriend's father a speedy recovery.
