Reuters: Radar anomaly prompts U.S. FAA to briefly close some Montana airspace

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The U.S. military said late on Saturday a radar anomaly prompted the temporary closure of airspace to civilian airplanes in Montana but no threatening object was detected.

The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) sent fighter aircraft to investigate but the aircraft "did not identify any object to correlate to the radar hits. NORAD will continue to monitor the situation."

Earlier on Saturday, a U.S. F-22 fighter jet shot down an unidentified cylindrical object over Canada, the second such shootdown in as many days.

Canada and the United States have been on heightened alert following an episode earlier this month where a Chinese high-altitude balloon the U.S. said was spying was tracked from Montana to South Carolina and then shot down off the coast.

  3. Balloon shot down. China does not apologize but blames official. Four (4) more object craft invade within a week.

Obviously, China is not scared of Stupid Joe, Nervous Nellie Milley or board member Austin.

    1. You're assuming they're all Chinese balloons

  4. I am assuming that. Yes. They could be Russian and North Korean.

Other countries would fess up I think if it was theirs. I can't imagine why Vietnam would have a balloon up there. If it were Japan, they would tell us I think.

A balloon is cost effective for China, but for a midsized country Y think the cost would mean a harder look due to costs.

If it is a US or NATO balloon, then perhaps we need to change governments at home.

So it is wrong to call Joe Biden Stupid Joe for allowing this to happen?

I et the smart thing to do was to try to keep covering up this was happening. It was the go to move for the Biden Whitehouse, when it came to classified documents and it was their go to move for these spy overflights.

Joe Biden is bought by the CCP and he is also weak.

  9. Why isn't Barfsack Ocrumbo using newkulor bombs on the UFO's?

That would show 'em what for.

  10. if it were a balloon, it would still be floating along. Instead, the object has vanished. If it is of terrestrial origin, it may possess some form of cloaking, to have vanished so completely. Or else, it landed in Montana somewhere.

  13. this is why
The Federal Aviation Administration announced Saturday that it issued a temporary flight restriction over a portion of Montana shortly after an unidentified object was shot down over Canada and later said the restriction was lifted.

"The FAA closed some airspace in Montana to support Department of Defense activities," the FAA told Fox News Digital in a statement on Saturday evening.

The airspace closed down was in the area around Havre, Montana not far from the U.S. border with Canada.
and yes: Biden and Canada knocked it out of the sky...move on to next insult that shows your childishness

  14. Why are you bots repeating the same nonsense in every freaking post? There is way more interesting stuff happening now than the usual hate-trump-or-biden regurgitated nonsense.

  15. Hans,

Why? Because some of these people are ideologues . that's why. They do not care about the truth or right and wrong. they only care about their own opinion.

The other part of this, is that: not all but some, have weak critical thinking skills. They are like the sheep in Animal Farm.

That's just the way it is.

  16. Actually the balloon had a message on it. It said we've been trying to contact you about your car's extended warranty.
