Reuters: Russia releases video of captured German tanks, U.S. fighting vehicles in Ukraine
Russia's Defence Ministry released video footage on Tuesday of what it said were German-made Leopard tanks and U.S.-made Bradley Fighting Vehicles captured by Russian forces in a fierce battle with Ukrainian troops.
Reuters was able to confirm that the vehicles seen in the video were Leopard tanks and Bradley Fighting Vehicles, but was not able to independently verify the location or date of the footage.
The Defence Ministry said the armoured vehicles and tanks were captured on the Zaporizhzhia front in southern Ukraine, one of the areas where Ukrainian forces have been trying to counter-attack.
Two Leopard tanks were shown in the footage, which was released on the ministry's official channel on the Telegram messaging application, along with two damaged Bradley Fighting Vehicles.

WNU Editor: Most of the equipment looks relatively intact. My guess is that the crews were in a hurry and made the decision to abandon their vehicles.
As predicted, off to the reverse engineering warehouse we go.
ReplyDeleteRussian have to reverse engineer quality and a supply chain too.
ReplyDeleteQuality is open source , but the Russians have never caught onto it.
Beside why reverse engineer it. the Chinese probably already stole it along with the nuke and missile tech. so why have not the Chinese shared?
Nah
ReplyDeleteJust get the tech you want and junk the rest. Radios, optics and targeting tech will be the big three.
The tech Russia cannot use. It is why newly minted T-8-s are using Soviet era range finding equipment.
ReplyDeletesucks to be you.
Looks like all that tech missed its target and the crews were scared shitless of all that outdated soviet stuff. Sucks to be them
DeleteOh another thing. We never got to see a Goering-Himmler match up.
ReplyDeleteBut we could soon see a Prigzhin Shogui match up.
Got my chip, dip, beer and lawn chair ready.
the Ukie crews ran like rabbits it appears! Why should they care, they did not pay a penny for those multi-million dollar machines of war, they were donated by the Americans and Germans Easy come, easy go!
ReplyDeleteSend them to China.
ReplyDeleteYes.Just like Faz and Chris said. The Russians are using T55s. That's why the ukies have lost so many armor vehicles because of old soviet equipment.
ReplyDeleteOnce again, the bullshit narrative falls apart in front of your eyes.
Never said that lol. The ukes have not lost these to Russian tanks , but in tiur own words mines and artillery. Please try to put your bullshit in a diary , you're losing track.
DeleteProbably first time you've seen a MBT with a turret still on after an engagement ?
Send them to China.
ReplyDeleteThe people that keep getting voted into my government sure know how to deflate their own hot air.
ReplyDeleteFaz
ReplyDeleteyes you did you said the russians were reduced to using T55s
You also said this was going to the like the battle of 73 easting.....aint working out like that is it?
No l didn't, and obviously you need to close ranks for a 73 easting , that's yet too happen. These are still all probing and diversionary attacks, when you see 300 plus mbt afv and apc exploiting an opening then easting will occur behind the breach
DeleteYou are hitting the Scrumpy!!
ReplyDeleteYou said the russians had nothing left but T 55s.
Faz. That explotation? Well they have my thoughts and prayers are with them. They need to go thru 3 separate obstacle belts to get there. You ever been in the military?
You ever been on an attack? Even against a hasty defense it is ugly.
With no air or artillery support to go thru 3 belts , well it would not surprise me that they lose over 100 vehicles and over 3000 men in one pop.
At Tarawa, the 4th marine regiment was wiped out at the beach. At Ypres, the brits lost 50,000 men in 4 hours and if I remember correctly they only advanced 1 mile.
Good luck with that offensive...I am glad it is not me.
I never said that, noone said that lol, they have T72s on tap lol. They were using the old garbage in an artillery fire support roll .
DeleteLet's not quote ww1 ..no relevance to this , and although outgunned the ukes are using artillery to support the advance .
DeleteObviously it's very difficult bit it is still very early days , this isn't a 10 day op .
I'm sure Rheinmetall is going to be thrilled to have one of these things on display at a weapons show right next to their booth trying to sell it.
ReplyDeleteThey will put a postie spin.
DeleteA The crew survived
B It still has a turret
where are all the other destroyed bradleys and leopards? its been the same image for the past week...
ReplyDeletefunny why would you leave your new trophies in the dirt? not even going to move them? lol
Fazman is the best thing to happen since Wonder Bread.
ReplyDeleteWonder bread.....Builds bones, 12 ways.
ReplyDeleteFazzy...... a great source of what not to believe.
