MOSCOW – Russia's foreign minister on Monday urged the United States to talk to Iran and staked out a tough position before talks expected this year on a new nuclear arms control treaty, Russian news agencies reported.
Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is scheduled to hold talks with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton in Geneva on Friday in the highest-level meeting between the two nations since President Barack Obama took office.

My Comment: So much for having the Russians assist us in our dealings with the Iranians. From what I understand in the Russian FM's comments, they are not going to assist us at all .... they are washing their hands from this entire affair.
