U.S. Attacks Afghan Hospital After Wounded Taliban Commander Checks In -- The Daily Mail

U.S. and Afghan forces attacked a clinic in eastern Afghanistan yesterday after an injured Taliban commander checked in for treatment.

American helicopter gunship fired on the medical centre in in the Sar Hawza district of Paktika province after militants put up resistance, officials claimed.

A spokesman for the province governor told how insurgent snipers fired from a tower near the clinic, and troops called in an airstrike.
