Alleged Terror Cell Planned To Open Fire On Army Base, Court Told -- Herald Sun
A MAN charged in relation to an alleged plot to attack an Australian army base has refused to stand while in court.
Melbourne Magistrates' Court heard this afternoon that an alleged Melbourne terror cell planned to enter a Sydney army base and open fire.
The men allegedly planned to use weapons to fire on personnel and bystanders at Holsworthy Barracks until they themselves were either killed or taken into custody, the court was told.
