Irish Lisbon Treaty: Tallies Show 60% Yes Vote -- Wall Street Journal

DUBLIN (Dow Jones)--Early tallies in Ireland's second referendum on the Lisbon Treaty show a major shift towards the Yes vote, even in the working class and rural areas that rejected the treaty the first time around, according to early tallies released Saturday.

Most tallies show a Yes vote of 60%-plus, showing a dramatic reversal of the No vote in most rural and working class constituencies that voted 50%-plus on the No side during the first referendum in June 2008.
