The war for Taiwan starts in the early morning. There are no naval bombardments or waves of bombers: That's how wars in the Pacific were fought 70 years ago. Instead, 1200 cruise and ballistic missiles rise from heavy vehicles on the Chinese mainland.

My Comment: I have always said this about the Chinese .... culturally, no one in the world approaches their incredible history and traditions .... but politically .... they are still very immature.
A shooting war will be a political, military, and economic disaster for the Chinese. With the exception of the North Koreans, Myanmar, and the Pakistanis .... China will receive little if any international support, and (instead) it will only help in putting together a security framework in Asia to counter any future Chinese aggression. I will not even dwell on the economic consequences .... sanctions, embargoes, and God knows what else will seriously undermine the Chinese economy .... taking years if not decades to recover.
