Should The U.S. And China Have A Cyber Detente?

Some claim that attacks from the U.S. on China are equal to those the U.S. gets from China. While few individuals know the true magnitude of these attacks in either direction, it is clear this is a huge problem that shows no sign of going away anytime soon.

My Comment: On the poll I voted yes, but I am confident in saying that the Chinese will not be interested. Reason .... the Chinese have nothing to gain by having a cyber detente with the U.S., the cost benefit for them is just not there. The Chinese do not have the military capabilities of the U.S. .... their advantages lie in other areas, one of them being in the cyber realm. Why give up something that is to them a tactical advantage.
Of course .... all of this would be the case if the Chinese do have an advantage in cyber capabilities, a point of view that is (admittedly) open for debate.
SUCH A DETENTE IS NONSENSE. WE VIOLATED THE NUKE TREATY WITH THE RUSSIANS AND SO TOO DID THEY...THAT IS WHY WE BEGAN TESTING UNDERGROUND
