Gaddafi Sent $2 Million To Republican Dissidents Before He Was Deposed -- The Telegraph

Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, the deposed Libyan leader, resumed his funding of Irish republican terror groups shortly before he was forced into hiding by Nato bombing raids, it has been claimed.

A Libyan government courier flew into London earlier this year with $2 million (£1.3 million) in cash during a stopover while on route to the Irish Republic, a documentary to be screened on Monday will say.

The cash was said to be on its way to a businessman, believed to be a supporter of one of the dissident republican terror groups responsible for attacks against police in Northern Ireland.

My Comment: For Gaddafi .... his fall from power is blow-back for not only supporting Irish terror groups .... but for all the other provocative actions that he has committed over the years to scores of other countries. In the end .... with the exception of a few mercenaries .... he now finds himself (deservedly so) alone.
