Guess Who Is Going To Stay At The Falkland Islands For A Few Weeks

The Falklands eagerly await the Duke of Cambridge's arrival to fly rescue helicopters. As Argentina turns up the rhetoric, the island's defenders say 'We're not handing this over to anyone.'

The RAF Typhoon fighter roared into the blue skies of a South Atlantic summer on its near-vertical take-off from Mount Pleasant airbase, then sped east towards Stanley Harbour.

And a Lynx helicopter left the HMS Montrose to fly over the waters off the world's southernmost capital, a hillside cluster of white-washed homes under brightly-coloured roofs.

My Comment: One more reason for the Argentinians to be annoyed as the Falklands war anniversary approaches.
