U.N. Nuclear Chief Headed To Iran, Inspection Deal In The Works -- L.A. Times

The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency heads to Iran on Sunday for high-level meetings ahead of next week's gathering in Baghdad of world powers hoping to persuade Tehran to reopen its nuclear program to outside inspection.

IAEA director Yukiya Amano will meet with Iran's lead nuclear negotiator, Saeed Jalili, during his first visit to Iran, the agency said on its website.
