Dennis Rodman: Kim Jong Un Wants President Obama To ‘Call Him’ -- ABC News

“He wants Obama to do one thing: Call him,” Rodman told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on “This Week.” “He said, ‘If you can, Dennis – I don’t want [to] do war. I don’t want to do war.’ He said that to me.”

My Comment: I would classify Dennis Rodman's trip to North Korea as a success. He stayed away from politics .... focused on basketball, developed a personal relationship with Kim Jong Un, and came back with the message that the North Korean leader wanted the White House to hear. As to whether or not President Obama should call North Korea .... my suggest would be to consult with our allies first. China second. And if everyone is in agreement .... lay the groundwork through third parties on what will be covered by this phone call .... especially focusing on what both sides are in agreement with.
Rodman seems a bit touched out of reality in his view of Kim, but then again, it is true; he is the only one with first hand account of what he's like.
