My Comment: I know from my sources in China that they feel that they have been deceived by North Korea on a number of issues .... the biggest one being this one. Couple that with the dreadful economic/political/and social conditions in North Korea .... calls for a change are now being echoed in Beijing. My prediction .... as South Korean - Chinese relations continue to develop, there will be a significant shift in the Chinese position on the Korean peninsula .... in short ... as South Korea's status increases in Beijing, North Korea's position will proportionally decrease.
