NATO Aircraft Deployments In Response To The Ukraine Crisis (Infographic)
My Comment: The media focus is on the Russian military buildup .... but NATO is also undergoing a military buildup on the other side of the border.
I am actually biased Salim. But I also hunger for people to disagree with me .... as long as their argument is respectful and to the point .... because that is how we learn. In this regards, I have been very lucky with some of the regular commentators to this blog.
As to this blog .... I always try my best to post a number of links to a story. This way the reader (and I) can get different points of view.
You are brutally honest. And if im to be honest, i sometimes disagree with you at times. But i dont always leave comments regarding my reason for disagreement.
You are right Adam ... there are reports that they are going to crack down on bloggers in Russia .... but so far nothing.
In my case .... while my nationality is Russian .... I live in Canada. This blog is run by blogger, and I always follow Google's rules (the owner of Blogger). It will not be impacted by what happens in Russia.
Well at least you admit your bias and still post stories that don't exactly flatter mother russia. A lot of the u.s media only report stories that coincided with their networks political agenda.... I hate MSNBC. Sometimes i tune in just because i love to hate them. Also i want to ask you. Do Russians really drink as much vodka as i see in the movies?
Yes Adam .... Russians are heavy drinkers .... it has always been part of the culture but it is also changing. The young prefer other pursuits and it does not include staying home and getting drunk with your buddies.
Hmmm .... in all of my travels that ones that I do find who are heavy drinkers (and can take it) are the Germans, Japanese, and the Chinese. As for myself .... I was once a heavy drinker (I even got blind in China when I drank shots of what the Chinese call 'White Lightening' with the Vice - Premier of Fujian Province in 1988 .... but that is another story) .... but today .... even though I am a part owner of a small private winery in the Eastern Townships of Quebec and a collector of fine wine, scotch, and cognac .... I rarely drink.
Correction .... I will be in NAPA and Sonoma counties in two weeks visiting my brother in California .... when I last looked I noticed that there are some wineries there. :)
I admire your non biased comment mr editor. You seem to report and review on "both sides" unlike the media. Good on ya mate!
