NATO: No Sign Russian Troops Are Pulling Back From Ukraine -- Wall Street Journal

Alliance Continues to Bolster Air-Patrolling Capabilities in Region

BRUSSELS—Officials of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization said they saw no sign of a withdrawal of Russian forces from near the border with Ukraine and cast doubt on a Russian statement that its forces had been pulled back.

"We currently have no information that indicates a withdrawal of Russian troops from the Ukrainian border," a NATO official said in a statement. Officials said the statement came after an assessment today of satellite images of the area.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu told U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel by phone Monday that Russian forces that had been conducting drills along the border had gone back to their bases and wouldn't invade Ukraine, both ministries said.

My Comment: Still too early to pass such a judgement. We shall know for sure in the next few days if Russian military forces are "returning to barracks".

    Nobody is, so why does the west think theyr saints when they make the devil jelouse of them.
