U.S. Would React Immediately If Russia Invaded Ukraine, Says American Ambassador -- UPI
The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine condemned the recent violence in eastern Ukraine by pro-Russian militants as "terrorism, pure and simple." U.S. Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt spoke Tuesday at a press conference, warning that a Russian invasion into Ukraine would merit an instantaneous response from the U.S.
KIEV, Ukraine, April 29 (UPI) -- U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt said Tuesday that the U.S. would respond immediately if Russia were to invade Ukraine.
Speaking at a press conference in Kiev on Tuesday, the ambassador said that Russian troop movements into Ukraine would constitute a serious escalation. According to the Kyiv Post, the U.S. would respond immediately and that "such a scenario would lead to tragic consequences."

My Comment: Here is an easy prediction .... these comments are going to elicit a quick response from Moscow.
I REALLY hope that his claim of the US reacting is only a scare tactic. It better be because it looks like our future is at stake here. Im probably overstating but who knows?
