Army Doctors: Bergdahl Making Progress Back In USA -- USA Today
U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, the former Taliban detainee who was released from captivity in a prisoner swap, is making progress in reintegration, military officials said Friday.
Maj. Gen Joseph DiSalvo said Bergdahl saluted him and appeared to have good soldierly comportment after getting off the plane in the United States before going to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio.
"He appeared like anyone who sees a two-star general, a little bit nervous," DiSalvo said. "Nonetheless, he saluted" and greeted the general in English.

My Comment: For the past week I have been finding this part of the Bowe Bergdahl story very strange .... Army: Bergdahl's wasn't joined by family after return to US following 5 years of captivity (AP). And now I am reading this .... EXCLUSIVE - Revealed: Twin sisters lived in fear of Bowe Bergdahl's 'stalker' father who was caught 'peeping into their windows while they were in the shower' (Daily Mail). I could be completely wrong, but my gut is telling me that there is more to this story than what they are telling us.
