U.S. Soldiers Injured By Lightning While Lowering The U.S. Flag

My Comment: The story is here. I am posting this story because it happened to me when I was lowering the UN's flag at the ICAO headquarters in Montreal when I was working there many years ago. I received a shock but (fortunately) it was not severe enough to knock me down. Bottom line .... do not be near a flag pole and/or trees in the middle of a lightning storm.
