My Comment: I love these doom and gloom reports. But in the event of a solar super storm .... it will be safe to assume that I will not be blogging if the worse case scenario does unfold.
Well if it happens you can look for me at:

James .... there was actually a time when I wanted to be a truck driver (right after university) .... this was something that was completely incomprehensible to my family .... but what can I say .... I loved being on the highway. Alas .... to the relief of my parents .... I learned that I have a medical condition that makes me want to fall asleep at the wheel after driving for about an hour. Cannot help it .... but I just get drowsy unless I take repeated stops. Not an ideal condition for a truck driver. So in the end it was the foreign office and traveling abroad. But being on the highway is something that I still love .... and one of my dreams is to get a nice RV and do a road trip with the GF across Canada and the U.S. for a few months. Meet fellow bloggers, readers, a few golf courses, a few great restaurants, a beach here or there, see the sights and landmarks, take a whole bunch of selfies, and chalk one more down on my 'bucket list'.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good plan!
