Latin American Herald Tribune: Bolivia Has Highest Foreign Reserves in Latin America
WNU Editor: For a country that is run by
an illiterate socialist .... he is doing a far better job at managing his government finances than all the "smart people" elsewhere in Latin America.
Are not the leaders of Venezuela, Argentina and Brasil all run be people left of center?
ReplyDeleteColumbia has an insurgency in part funded and supported by d Ecuador and Venezuela
It appears that in Bolivia the people who run/manage the finances are a bit more responsible. It is true that the leaders of Venezuela and Argentina are political soul mates of Bolivian President Evo Morales .... but they are certainly not good economic managers.
ReplyDeleteOn a personal note .... I am surprised. I never expected Morales to be successful to the economic level that he has.
WNU Editor,
ReplyDeleteBolivia has always been wealthy as a country, it's problem always was that the wealth and power was inequally distrubuted, and historically, "looting" took precidence over investing.
Every country has something. If they do not have minerals or farmland, they have beaches or, sand, sun, location, or equatorial spin.
