Express: SAS told to 'save last bullet for yourselves' in case of Islamic State capture
BRITAIN'S special forces fighting in Syria and Iraq are under orders not to be captured alive by the brutal Islamic State, it has emerged.
SAS soldiers are believed to have been told to "save the last bullet for yourselves" if they fear they are in danger of being taken hostage by the terror group.
The UK's elite force were flown into the Middle East last summer, as so-called Islamic State extremists began to take control of large swathes of Iraq, adding to their territory in Syria.
WNU Editor: I think everyone knows that the Islamic State does not respect the rules of war for its prisoners.

Using the USA playbook for the handling POW's ?
Since when were the people at GITMO wearing uniforms?
ReplyDeletePeople at GITMO have prayer sessions, play soccer and gain weight.
The Jordanian pilot is mot gaining any weight. He is dead.
Anonymous if you had a choice between being capture by an enemy that waterboarded a handful or people or one that has immolated 46 or more and stage mass executions into the hundreds if nit thousands, who would you surrender too?
AS ..
ReplyDeleteWhat difference does a uniform make?
Where were those prisoners taken from? oh that's right . they were taken from their homeland ..
The laws of Geneva forbid torture and they forbid any countries invasion of another foreign country without a "declaration of war"
What happened to those international "laws"?
A little water-boarding .. lol
Rectal feeding and rehydration stress positions, hooding, subjection to deafening noise, sleep deprivation to the point of hallucination, deprivation of food and drink — as well as waterboarding, walling, nakedness, subjection to extreme cold, confinement in small coffin-like boxes, and repeated slapping or beating
But yeah .. i guess it's somewhat better than burning to death .. if you say so ..
sleep deprivation yee hah.hey gumba everything we did was about the threat of torture not actual torture and not towards death. the objective was to scare the prisoners.

ReplyDeleteGuess you didn't read the torture report,

So torture justifies beheading and immolation? Since when do two wrongs make a right?
ReplyDeleteOn a scale of 1 to 10 would not immolation be far to the right of waterboarding?
ReplyDeleteThe report had Feinstein's name on it. There is a fine individual.
ISIS has immolated 3 times or more people than we waterboarded.
Read the book "Company Commander" by McDonald. Toward the end of the book they interrogated a German POW under interesting circumstances. Would then say the allies were as bad as the NAZIs with the concentrations camps? As Bad? Same ballpark? Same magnitude? It begins to look like we're comparing apples to oranges and nitpicking.
