WNU Editor: For the past 70 years Japan has constrained itself on the world stage with policies that are primarily focused on economics rather than on national security/military issues. But the murder of journalist Kenji Goto may be a watershed moment for Japan .... and we may now see a growing debate in Japan on adopting policies that in the past would never have been considered.
