Editor's Note

My new computer system has been hacked. It figures .... I made the fatal error of answering emails and visiting forums before I installed my security programs and firewalls. I am not a happy person.

I will now have to clear my hard drive again and .... well you get the picture. This is going to take a while. I will update my progress every few hours.

Update Sunday, July 12, 2015 11:45 EST: I will be back online late tonight.

Update July 11, 2015 10:40 EST: Again …. I would like to thank everyone for their feedback and offer of support. I should explain that the reason why this is taking a bit longer than usual is because my systems are all linked to each other, and I am involved in other web projects. Case in point, in one of my web projects I keep a data back-up of almost 16 terabytes (that is a T) of data and information …. data that is too priceless to lose or be corrupted. And while this data is also stored elsewhere, I am a firm believer that there can never be enough back-up or prevention. I am also lucky to have a lot of experience in computers, and I am surrounded by some top notch people. I am after all one of the first to find this spy-tool that the NSA uses …. Russian Researchers Discover America's Crown Jewel In Cyber Spying And This Spyware Is On All Computers, But I am not God …. I make mistakes …. and everyone's feedback and input is appreciated and wanted. Where I stand now …. the earliest will be tomorrow evening when I have the time to do my computer wipe and re-installation. I should then be blogging later in the evening.

Update July 10, 2015 18:45 EST: I have made the decision that I will need to restore my computer to it's factory settings. I am backing-up everything that I have, but it will mean that I will be offline till Sunday. I still have my iMac .... and while it is "not blogger friendly" .... I will use it to post a story or two until I am back online. Sighhh .... this is not the first time this has happened to me .... so I know what needs to be done. Unfortunately .... it will just take time .... so please be patient and view this as a rest period from War News Updates for the next day or two.

  6. Just asking what antivirus do you use?
For a quick setup before web surfing, get Super anti spyware on a exsternal-hardrive, and Instal MSE if the pc has windows, Microsoft Security Essentials. Also Malwarebytes anti malware the free edition works pretty well, since it covers the most just remember to turn on the scan for root kits option when it does the security scans. That is my setup, hope it works for you or could be too help. But good luck I hope everything will get better.

  7. To clean, get Malwarebytes Anti Malware and Avast Free. Your infection may not let you install them. If that's the case, go to www.ninite.com, select your choices, and download the installer. You can also get the free Emsisoft Emergency Kit from the Emsisoft website or Bleeping Computer website. Send me an email if you need help; warnewsupdatessupport.onsoku@spamgourmet.com

  10. I hope you not lose anything important, I lost the data to several side projects when my computer crashed several years back.

  11. Hopefully the fix goes all well. I sent you an email the other day from Quanzhou, hopefully nothing bad attached itself to that email as I haven't found anything wrong with my computer. Apologies if so.

  13. Matthew ... I am just starting to read the news. Yup .... a lot is about to happen.

Anon .... thank you for your email .... I miss Quanzhou. I know the place has changed a lot since I was there in the 1980s. I loved the place in July .... and I do remember the heat and the humidity.

James .... I have been busy working on my computers since Thursday .... sigh .... it has not been a restful few days.
