The computer that I use for this blog has just crashed.
Off to get a new one.

Update 14:00 EST: My hard drive has been giving me problems for the past few weeks .... and it finally crashed today (thank God I am always doing a backup). I am now loading the software that I need in my new system, and I will probably be back to blogging within the hour.

Anon. For this blog I use (use to use) an Acer i5 .... I prefer using the windows platform because it is easier for me to copy paste what I want. I have an iMac 27" quad-core intel core i5, and for that system I use it for my business (reason .... Apple products are more secure). But I do not use my iMac for blogging because of the copy/paste issues.

For those who are interested ... for backup I use a Western Digital Passport Ultra 2T. They are cheap and extremely reliable.
Good specs, I have an stationary win7 gaming pc, which have the same specs as you'r iMac. With backup I recommend you to get a external USB hardrive, and backup you'r system either with the windows security copy feature or manual each month to reduce the risk of lost data.
