Russian officials have been sent a 400 page book of President Vladimir Putin's most 'prophetic' quotes as a New Years gift.
They have been ordered to read the book entitled 'Words That Are Changing The World' and display it in their offices at all times.
The book, which is said to contain a collection of his sayings and speeches going back 12 years, has been compared to Chinese chairman Mao Tse-Tung's communist bible.

Mind, the Stalin analogies are silly. Call me when there are mass repressions or collectivisation. Still, the resemblance to a certain Soviet custom is striking.
If it's like Mao's, though, is it to be called the Little White Book?
