"The US military is unquestionably the world's strongest force..." Actually there are substantial doubts surrounding such an assumption.
ReplyDeleteAs for the "budget" more money spent doesn't neccessarily mean better. If it did, Washington DC school children would be the best educated in the America if not the world and with the money spent on "the war on poverty" over the last 50 years we should have eliminated poverty by now or at least made a dent in it. Instead the problem is either unchanged or worse. Besides given transparency issues I'm not sure we can corroborate the military budgets of some nations.
Actually the only way to "know" for certain whose force is strongest would be for them to square off on the battlefield. God willing it won't come to that.
To use a term lkke "unquestionably" in this instance is inaccurate reporting and has no business being in a serious news source. Clearly it seems the editor of the publication failed.
With that said, excellent information on cancelled weapons systems. I expect the F-35 to end up on a list like this someday.
Strongly disagree. Knowledge gained was not abandoned.
