Business Insider: Putin once casually said over dinner that he could destroy America in a half-hour — or less
In December 2011, Vladimir Putin, then Russia's prime minister, was positioned to reclaim his role as Russia's president in the March 2012 elections.
Fittingly, Putin hosted a lavish banquet at New Century, Moscow's richest equestrian club, for members of the Valdai Club and distinguished academics and journalists from around the world.
"The fare was extravagant: smoked trout, duck liver, venison soup, rhubarb sorbet, veal cheeks, and pear soup with caramel," according to authors of the "The Russia-China Axis," Douglas E. Schoen and Melik Kaylan.

IMHO, regular reminders that MAD still exists, is a "good thing" as after the Cold War, a lot of Western Nations started to act like nukes had never existed.
A nice video clip of Putin saying this will juxtapose nicely with Obama's virile Polish workout video.

Works both ways, If some of the weird stuff (hypersonic) start taking off, well it's all over but the crying. 1/2 an hour? More like 5 minutes or less. Posturing is all well and good. But we both have 1st strike weapons.
