Battle For Aleppo: A Turning Point In Syria's Civil War? (Video)

From France 24: It's shaping up as a turning point in Syria's civil war. After years on the back foot, the Syrian army advances on what was once the country's largest city, Aleppo. The Assad regime is backed by Russian air strikes, Lebanese Hezbollah forces and Iranian fighters on the ground. That's triggered a fresh exodus towards the now closed Turkish border. Are the latest advances jockeying for position ahead of new negotiations on Thursday, or are talks just a smokescreen for Damascus and its allies?

  1. civil war: a war between groups of people in the same country

That doesn't apply to Syria because of all the tens of thousands of foreign fighters actually doing the fighting and also those foreign countries (US, Turkey, Saudi & Qatar) supporting it with wwapons, training and financing.

  2. This is really too much. Even for the gang running the U.S.

Now they're throwing Turkey under the bus. All this talk about Turkish support for Islamic radicals and how "Washington doesn't trust" them because of it. After all their pumping and priming of these "moderates" with weapons, PR support, and attacks on Syria through their little GCC gangster buddies, they are now going to play the prude.

    They are just shameless.

All because they couldn't get Syria's lunch money through bullying because Syria has a pair and some badass buddies to back her up. So now the whole bloody world has to listen to their toadies' croak their high fallutin' BS moral indignation for who knows how long this time. The equivalent of a long, loud, wet fart is heard round the world to cover up a failed criminal enterprise that was supposed to be Libya Part II.

Beyond a doubt the scuzzyist, slimeyist, scummyist scumbags in the history of the planet reign over the "western" world right now.

We came. We saw. He died.

    Cookies anyone?
