In The Event Of A Major Naval War With The U.S. On One Side vs. Russia, China, Or Iran On The Other, Who Would Win?

Dave Majumdar, National Interest: Russia, China or Iran vs. US Navy: Who Wins? (A Sea Control Showdown)

The capability risks that the United States Navy took in the immediate aftermath of the Cold War are coming back to haunt the service as Russia, China and Iran seek to challenge American forces at sea. Increasingly, rival powers are challenging American sea control—something that the U.S. Navy has not encountered since the implosion of the once mighty Soviet Navy in 1991.

“Their operational approach, Russia, China, Iran certainly, is to deny us sea control,” Admiral Philip S. 1. If it's a "war" it's not just a Navy fight.

As much as they want to, the US Army won't be at the Gates of Moscow anytime soon.

    1. Seems to be.

The "Official Navy Speak" was you can't have a 14 day exercise and have some Marine General commanding Red Force kill everybody on Day 1, so " limits" have to be imposed to conform to the script of the exercise.

The "Official Navy Rumours" are that van Ripper, hacked the LockMart code, to allow him to stick 50 foot missiles on 20 foot speedboats, stick Scuds and Frogs on T-62's, and hide his headquarters inside an island's active Volcano, some where in the Middle East in an op-for Country named Nearan.

  3. I have been following this blog for the past 7 years. And on no occasion with political and
military intelligence have I been disappointed. That is why I fear what is coming for my future.

  4. With the new Anti Ship Missiles systems, the war at sea should last about a week to a month and anything left afloat in any navy will scurry back to port.

  6. It is not hard to believe the real world OPFOR has generals every bit as crafty as Van Riper.
