The US has launched a secret weapon shaped like a floating 'golf ball' as part of moves to counter the nuclear threat from North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.
Washington sent the bizarre-looking X-Band radar (SBX) from Pearl Harbour in Hawaii to an undisclosed location off the coast of the secretive nation.
The 50,000-ton radar system, with a structure similar to an oil rig, is capable of detecting and then directing rockets to intercept missiles.

3 years ago I was in Hawaii doing the tourist thing and saw this monster. It's really impressive. I've heard that it doesn't work all that great.
