Reuters: Russia's Putin, Saudi prince praise dialogue on oil, Syria
Russia and Saudi Arabia hailed their growing partnership in oil markets and dialogue on Syria on Tuesday, in a departure from past hostilities between the top global producers and major players in the Middle East.
Russian President Vladimir Putin heaped praise on Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who looks after the kingdom's defense and energy, as he welcomed the possible future king to the Kremlin.
It was the second meeting between the two men over the past year following a breakthrough meeting in China, where Putin and Prince Mohammed showed the first signs the world's two biggest oil exporters could clinch a deal to prop up oil prices.

It has been talked about before, the distance between Putin and the handshake. This time it's close to Putin and away from the Saudi.
Putin looks to be about 5'6".
Now the stage is set for internal terrorism in the Kingdom of Saud.

Yeah he is short. I'm a little surprised they let that photo through, usually they are pretty careful about that. Something else was more important about the photo.
He is 5'6". And skinny.
I agree James. For the Kremlin this was a very important meeting.
Yup, much has changed,
-Russian oil and US fracking's killed the Saudi "monopoly",
-the Saudi's are helplessly bogged down in Yemen,
- the R+6 has moved to the stage of slaughtering the Saudi proxies in Syria,
-and the US is compromised and weak.
It's a much different world for the Saudi's than it was 4 months ago.
